Day 15. Certainly equalled yesterday for the coldest day of the month, but thankfully again we went out at a time when the sun was up and it was lovely (especially as it was through our local historic Nonsuch park).

Today’s run was 5km (thanks to Phil Lengthorn challenging me) and was at a nice steady pace, as a number of hills involved.

I think of all the runs we have done, this was the best, as it was away from the roads and amongst some fantastic scenery. Out of interest, does anyone know what famous King lived at Nonsuch?

Today’s song choices included Jodie Mitchell (could not remember the name whilst out), Buble, Spandau, Beyonce and of course the wonderful Madness once more.

After a superb scrambled egg and smoked mackerel breakfast, I am now ready for a typical lazy hazy Sunday (not true, as I need to do the pedal bike that I put off yesterday), whilst Grainne has the joy of doing the parental run to Fulham for Georgina.

Total #janathon mileage after day 15 (day 9 for us) = 11.9 miles.

And now my daily #jokeathon

Q. Where was the declaration of independence signed?
A. At the bottom!

And to finish, my daily #lyricathon. What song and singer? Answer tomorrow. Yesterday’s answer was Michael Jackson and “Billie Jean”.

You drove me nearly out of my head
While you never shed a tear, babe
Remember, I remember all that you said
You told me love was too plebeian
Told me you were through with me

  1. Well done with the 5km…..but more importantly….best joke so far!
