So the big news last night was the end of Fabio Capello’s reign of England manager! Still not had the call yet, but maybe they will call me via Harry!

Another early morning start this time to our office in Bank for a Henley Group conference call discussing culture.

Then a quick dash across to London Wall for a Data Loss Prevention presentation with Symantec. Interesting stuff if you like that sort of thing (unfortunately I have to).

After an afternoon in Wimbledon (suffering from vertigo again being north of the river), it was off to football!

Today’s picture is of Drewett. We thought it appropriate after his performance tonight trying to headlock our main striker (Bappa Dasgupta). When I say striker, I need to be careful with my words, as he is about half the size of Alan Shearer (HR) and less hair (seriously only joking – he is so quick. Actually faster than Andy Robb).

Anyhow, time to go, as snow failing fast in Wandsworth.

My quote for the day. A bonus point for getting the person. Yesterday’s was the words of Brian May.

“Football isn’t a contact sport, it’s a collision sport. Dancing is a contact sport”.

And finally today’s lyrics. Yesterday’s was of course the Bugles and “Video killed the radio star”.

“I’m holding very tight
I’m riding in the midnight blue
I’m finding I can fly so high above with you

Far across the world
The villages go by like trees
the rivers and the hills
The forest and the streams

Children gaze open mouth
Taken by suprise
Nobody down below believes their eyes”.
