We had a great night at my Aunty Linda’s last night and caught up with my slightly younger cousin Paul (over from China) and my youngest cousin Grace (4 months). Sorry Paul, but Grace is much cuter, albeit less chatty at this stage!

Unfortunately Millwall went out of the FA cup yesterday with a bit of a whimper! Now we can concentrate on the league!

Today I went to Kingston hell bent on finding some shoes for my nieces wedding and some suits for work. I ended up bringing back a loaf of bread!

This afternoon, I decided to install our new BT router, as well as tidy up the children’s laptops (backups, anti-virus etc). 3 hours later this seemed like a good idea, but I guess it’s one way to spend Sunday evening!

Saying that, as I write, Grainne has just presented me with a large piece of home made sponge cake! Washed down with a lovely mug of tea. As my dad would say, “handsome”.

My quote for the day. A bonus point for getting the person. Yesterday’s was the words of George Eliot.

“A lot of movies are about life, mine are like a slice of cake”.

And my lyrics. Yesterday was Sister Sledge and “We are family”.

“I need you, oh how I need you
But all you do is treat me bad
Break my heart and leave me sad
Tell me, what did I do wrong
To make you stay away so long”.

  1. Glad to hear Grace wins in the cute stakes! Good to see you all at the weekend x
