Back to work today. How pleasing it was to get back in to the normal routine of meetings, meetings, meetings!

Thankfully it was a pretty normal Friday with no major surprises after my prolonged absence.

If there was a highlight, it was probably my meeting with Good to discuss their roadmap for improvements, which will bring some interesting enhancements to the product over the coming months including, but not limited to Windows 7 mobile functionality (Windows 8 coming),integrated browser with single sign on (IOS and Android), email priority option and tasks!

The lowlight! How difficult can it be to migrate to Exchange 2010 and email archiving! More to follow over the coming weeks, but this is truly driving me mad!

Thanks to Mathias, my technology recommendation today is Onlive, a iPad application that also provides Microsoft Office applications using a Windows Desktop. Would you really want this though if using an Apple device for the simplicity?

As it’s my Dad’s birthday tomorrow, he is over for dinner tonight (pie and mash again). Tomorrow we are both off to a stag do with Thomas (just what I need after two weeks off), so could be some good material for tomorrows blog!

Enjoy your weekends!

  1. Hey Garry, sorry to hear your pain over Exchange 2010 migration. Perhaps it’s an experience you should share with your fellow members in the Corporate IT Forum? See you soon but definitely at the Real IT Awards on 20th March.
