I think I’ve decided my project for March is to get back to a suitable level of fitness to play sport, as I cannot see my ribs being better for a week or two!

Sitting on the train this morning, I wondered whether it’s time to hire a bubble to protect me!

The only positive spin on having to cancel my trip to Microsoft in Amsterdam this week has been to have a free diary and an opportunity to catch up.

After a positive session on the Microsoft Exchange 2010 migration this morning to get us back on track, I’ve been able to put to bed my business case for the London Bank move, as well as get an informative update on our work to progress a CMDB to improve our service management capabilities. Configuration Management Data Base for those who have not fallen to sleep by now!

It’s funny how we love an acronym in our profession. It reminds me of the Harry Enfield and Ronnie Corbett sketch, which I’ve attached for your pleasure. Pure class!

Let’s hope my ribs are better tomorrow, as in London in the morning for meetings.
