Last night myself and Thomas went out as planned and did 11.5 miles in about 80 minutes. Hardly lightning quick, but miles and time on the saddle.

Today’s photo is of a famous market just around the corner from the new office. So easy! By the way, the church yesterday was St. Clements.

Between now and our ride later this month, myself and Thomas need to raise £400 through the BHF London to Brighton bike ride site that we have created with my SThree colleagues, so please give generously, as it will spur us on.

This morning was an early morning start at our head office for Connect the World. After that, I headed back to Bank for some morning meetings around telecommunications expenditure and salary matters.

The afternoon was supplier driven with meetings with our Microsoft Enterprise Agreement provider, SoftwareOne, and a licensing board advisory session with Microsoft themselves, as I am a member of the UK board.

Probably not the most productive day for me, as a number of short meetings and short gaps between, but at least a diverse range of subjects and people to deal with! Always one of the nice elements of my role.

I realised today that maybe I should include an highlight from my working day. Either something that was valuable to learn or something I or my team have achieved.

Today the highlight was Alex Smith, our CFO visiting us. Although it seems a minor point, this would never have happened if we were based in Wimbledon. This emphases our Rapport value in moving to the city.

Tonight I intend to rest my legs. After two days of running and cycling, they are a tad weary….
