After a lazy lay in this morning, it was out on the bikes early afternoon. Grainne made the decision to join us, which she might regret tomorrow!

Todays photo is another landmark of London. Yesterdays landmark of Cannon Street station is hiding a famous dome in the background. Easy eh?

Our route over 3 hours took us through Chessington, Ewell, Epsom, Oxshot, Leatherland and Ashtead, which is where we had a fantastic tea and cake stop.

The resulting 23 miles is another fantastic milestone in our training for the BHF London to Brighton bike ride.

Just a reminder that if you want to sponsor us by text, you just text 70070 and put LOBR99 and the amount e.g. LOBR99 (space) £10.

We really need your support, as only £77 raised so far. Woefully short of our target of £1600!

As I write my blog, I am watching the cup final and what an awful match it is. Let’s hope the second half gets better! Why have these finals failed to deliver over the last few years. The underdogs, I guess Liverpool his year, just don’t seem to give it a real shot!

My highlight of the day. Well although the strawberry gateaux cake at our bike break was up there, it has to be Grainne, who matched me and Thomas mile for mile on our ride upon a mountain bike. Legend….
