Reading the paper on the way to work this morning, it was a shame to see that West Ham have made the play off finals and QPR have their premiership destiny in their hands. I was quite looking forward to these two derby games for Millwall next year!

Oh well, no hard feelings. Good luck to both clubs for their final decisive games.

My next set of landmark photos today. Does anyone know what this needle is officially called and what it commemorates? Yesterday’s answer was that the Fire of London of started in Pudding Lane.

I was at our Bank location all of today with a range of meetings in my diary.

One of these was regarding email archiving and the fact that we start a pilot next week before agreeing the production rollout (yippee)!

One of the others was an interview with a journalist regarding our deployment of Good. It seemed to go well, but I guess I won’t really know until I get a preview of the article in the next week or two. This is new territory for me, but great experience.

Tonight I aim to get a few more bike miles under my belt with Thomas. Not got a target as yet, but hope to be out for at least an hour. Less than 3 weeks to go now and getting excited and nervous at the prospect!

One of the things I challenged the team at work last week was to raise £5000 for charity over the next 12 months. For any ideas they generate, I will use the hash tag s3itcharity to reference it on twitter.

Please visit our web site if you want to sponsor our BHF London to Brighton bike ride.

If you want to sponsor us by text, you just text 70070 and put LOBR99 and the amount e.g. LOBR99 (space) £10.

As of today, there are only 80 days to the Olympics. I thought this was an ideal opportunity to introduce a new section to my blog, which is name the Olympic event.

To compete in my event, you run one complete lap of a track jumping over 10 stands about 3 feet high. What event am I? Easy eh?

The highlight of the day was the news that more Olympic tickets go on sale this weekend. Let’s hope that I, as well as many other unfortunate souls get some tickets this time.

Anyhow I’m Off to cycle now. Fingers crossed, the rain holds off!
