After all the bike ride training recently, it was really nice to have a relaxing day fishing.

Here is one of the fruits of my enjoyable day at Dorking. A crucian Carp.

Yesterday’s landmark picture was of Blackfriars new railway station. The bridge that the station sits on is known as Blackfriars bridge today, but was previously know as St. Paul’s bridge.

Today’s landmark photo is of the Lloyds building, which is in Leadenhall street, the site of one of our other offices in London.

It is sometimes referred to as the inside out building, but who was the building designed by?

Like cycling on Saturday, fishing took up most of my day today, which was good, as my options were to go to the Chelsea parade with Thomas or watch a girly film with the girls. Wise move me thinks!

As the Olympic torch starts weaving its way across the UK, there are now 68 days to the showcase in East London.

Yesterday’s event that requires the competitors to legally have one foot on the ground when they take off and the individual to not have more than 11 spikes was the High Jump.

Today’s event requires one of the two competitors to have a certificate indicating experience in top international competition. There is a team and individual discipline in this event and faults count against you?

I did promise two days ago that I would show a picture of Daley Thompson and
my mate Lew. Which one is Daley? Too easy?

The highlight of the day has to go to the catch at fishing. Not often I catch carp, so this was worth waiting for!

  1. If you think that one looks inside out, you should see Centre Pompidou that he designed with Renzo Piano – an utterly fantastic building – but basically just a massive box with everything on the outside…
